  1. Squid Game –

It is obvious that all of us has at least come across a Squid Game meme online. As of now, the Korean drama series has already surpassed 111 million viewers. The show was an overnight success, already garnering the similar attention that “Game of Thrones” offered. As of last week, the producer unanimously confirmed that Season 2 was in the works.

The plot is centered on a competition of various Korean children’s games. It seems like a harmless children’s game at first, but here’s the catch. The price for losing is death. Among 456 financially doomed players, only one would stand the chance to win and walk out with a grand prize of 45.6 billion Korean won. This 9-episode series is intense, chilling but completely gripping.  

  1. Money Heist – 

Here’s a Spanish series proven to be highly bingeable and filled with action and drama. A team of nine criminals has planned to print billions of euros at Spain’s Royal Mint. They believe that their conscientious plan has worked. Yet, things start to unfold when the criminal mastermind behind the heist who goes by “The Professor” is slowly caught under the radar. This devious plot will definitely keep you hooked from season to season.

  1. Avatar: The Last Airbender –

Being one of the greatest animated shows ever, an audience of all ages would definitely enjoy Avatar.  In a world of the 4 elements, twelve-year-old Avatar Aang reappears after being missing for 100 years but is greeted with a war between the four nations. Responsible for keeping balance in the world, he and his companions work together in order to end the Fire Nation’s mission for world domination. Watch out for Netflix’s upcoming live-action remake. Avatar has got it all; lighthearted fun, laughter, thrills, imagination, and love.

  1. He’s All That –

If you are looking for a rom-com, this movie is just for you! He’s All That, starring famous Tiktoker Addison Rae is a remake of the 90’s teen classic “She’s All That”. 

The synopsis revolves around Padgett Sawyer, an influencer who would do anything to stay internet famous. Unfortunately, she is humiliated on her live broadcast when she walks into her boyfriend cheating on her. Desperate for a branding shift, she lands herself into a bet, believing that she is able to turn Cameron, the school’s biggest loser, into prom king. With time, she finds herself falling for Cameron and realizes that he could be exactly what she needs in her life.

  1. Army of the Dead –

Looking for a horror movie? Here’s some zombie action! Army of the Dead has racked up a surmountable number of views, hitting number 2 on Netflix. When a zombie outbreak occurs in Las Vegas, a team of mercenarily warriors are ready to take on the ultimate gamble. The city is left in ruins and is bordered off from the rest of the world. The team realizes that they’ll have to venture into a zombie-infested quarantine zone in order to retrieve $200 million sitting in a vault beneath the strip before the city is annihilated by the government in 32 hours. With the clock ticking and the zombies closing in, the survivors are ready to take it all.
